Currently, WWF-Indonesia is starting a project 'Sustainable Ecosystem Advance "(SEA) for a period of 5 years which is funded by USAID through Tetratech consulting firm.This project will work in three areas: Maluku, North Maluku and West Papua need the best candidate to fill the position of Marine Tourism Officer - CERAM with placements in Ambon.Marine Tourism Officer in the organizational structure SEA Project specifically works on the area of program implementation at CERAM - Maluku and other Project SEA implementation area in West Papua and responsible directly to the Site Coordinator Seram with technical coordination with the team in the area of implementation.
Marine Tourism Officer responsible for assisting the SEA Site Coordinator and Project Leader in developing and implementing strategies and action plans related to responsible marine tourism are the goals and achievements of the SEA project.
Develop research-based policy support program implementation responsible marine tourism campaign in the region of project implementation, particularly in the Moluccas.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Carry out excavation, monitoring, and updating data and information related to responsible marine tourism activities in the implementation of the Project
- Develop and promote best guides in the field of responsible marine tourism in the region implmentasi Project
- Collaborating with various partners (government, business, and community) in the application of best guide to responsible marine tourism
- Supporting the development of model / platform nautical tourism businesses responsible
- Coordinate and help the team Responsible Marine Tourism in the implementation of various campaigns and advocacy related to the field of marine tourism responsible
- Reviewing the various regulatory / policy related to marine tourism in the interests of the achievements of Project
- Presenting information on the issue of marine tourism for use as a decision-making or the work process to achieve an output Project
- Ensuring Project budget in the field of marine tourism can be managed effectively and efficiently as well as compatible with the financial regulations and the prevailing audit
- Make periodic reports and ad hoc or to document progress, outcomes, and learning program

- Technical support unit of WWF Indonesia's SEA Project
- Business people tourism / marine ecotourism in the implementation of the Project, as well as associations binis tourism / ecotourism marine national level
- NGOs, CBOs, and local community issues related to tourism / marine ecotourism in the implementation of the Project
- Technical Staff at UPT Central Government and the Provincial SKPD / Other districts in the relevant region Project implementation
- Universities and research institutes of marine and fisheries in the implementation of the Project
- Minimal S1 field of Marine Sciences / Fishing / Tourism / Biology / Management Conservation
- Minimum 2 years experience in the field of marine ecotourism, marine resource management, strengthening community / corporate areas of marine ecotourism
- Have the ability to better statistics and analysis
- Have the ability to communicate and adaptation of multi-ethnic good
- Have a good ability of organizing communities and discussion facilitator.
- Have good English language skills, oral and written
- Preferably with the ability to dive and underwater survey
