Tetra Tech ARD is currently accepting expressions of interest for the
Landscape Green Enterprise Development Specialist, Jayapura based on
our USAID LESTARI project. USAID’s LESTARI project supports the
Government of Indonesia to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and
conserve biodiversity in carbon rich and biologically
significant forest and mangrove ecosystems.
Job
Summary: This assignment is focusing on green enterprise development
activities in Cyclops landscape, enabling the development of community
based sustainable livelihood initiative in this landscape. S/he will
provide
technical assistance and other relevant activities in developing,
implementing and managing the activities that improve and increases
productivity and added value to reduce deforestation in the Cyclops.
S/he is responsible for developing green enterprise approaches
that provide sufficient economic incentives to communities to reduce
deforestation in the Cyclops Nature Reserve (CNR).
Requirements
include previous experience in a similar position for USAID project or
other international donor projects; minimum 3 years prior experience as a
(rural) community facilitation (as facilitator and trainer)
or relevant activities relate to enterprise development; experience in
multi stakeholder engagements; experience in working with USAID IFACS
project and/or USAID LESTARI project is preferred; experience in working
with gender based activities/project is preferred;
has strong interpersonal skill and teamwork; familiar with USAID
procedures and regulations; willing to work and travel intensively and
extensively in the field; and demonstrated ability to play collegial and
leadership roles working on multi-disciplinary
teams. University degree in related field required.
