Job Summary: s/he
reports to the Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning Coordinator, and
is responsible for day-to-day management operations of the LESTARI
Performance
Monitoring Plan (PMP) at the activity levels in the project sites
assigned. The primarily responsibility of the Landscape Monitoring &
Evaluation Specialist is the management of information/data collected
by technical staff at the project sites, as well as
verify data before uploaded onto LESTARI’s Management Information
System (MIS). S/he must report to Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning
Coordinator in Jakarta on a regular basis. S/he supports the Monitoring,
Evaluation & Learning Coordinator to develop the
M & E instruments, maintains the LESTARI PMP database, and trains
technical staff in its use.
Requirements include previous experience in a similar position for USAID project or other international donor projects;
attention into the details, is a must; has analytical and logical mind, is a must;
has experience/can demonstrate proficiency in collecting, analyzing and reporting of data; has experience to manage or supervise household survey; familiar
with Excel and SPSS program; has experience/can demonstrate proficiency in providing training; has background in forestry, natural resources or climate change is an advantage;
native fluency in spoken and written Indonesian; professional competency in spoken and written English; strong written and verbal communications skills;
familiar with USAID procedures and regulations
is
an advantage; willing to work and travel intensively and extensively in
the field; and demonstrated ability to play collegial and leadership
roles working on multi-disciplinary teams. University degree in related
field required.
