Sumatran orangutan conservation projects ongoing in Bukit Tigapuluh has been started since 2001. FZS Indonesia hiring for the position "Sumatran Orangutan Reintroduction Station Manager". Sumatran Orangutan Reintroduction Station Manager is responsible for the existence and health of orangutans as well as the supervision and regulation of the staff working in the Sumatran Orangutan Reintroduction Station.
Duration: 1 (One) Year (From March 2016)
Location: Tebo regency, Jambi Province
Line Manager: Operations Manager Sumatran Orangutan Conservation Programme (SOCP)
Reporting to: Operations Manager and Representative SOCP FZS
Qualification :
- Education: Bachelor (S1) Forestry, Veterinary, or other relevant field;
- Minimum 2 years experience working in the field in conservation projects, and;
- Experience as coordinator or manager in the field.
Skills required:
- Being able to speak and write good reports;
- Computer literate (word, excel and power point);
- Have good skills in communication and approach to others;
- Ability to work under pressure and time were limited, and;
- Ability to work in a team and be able to share knowledge and experience.
Other capabilities (optional):
- Mastering Indonesian and English oral and written
- Ability to use GPS
- Ability to operate GIS (preferred)
