Plan Indonesia is looking for a dynamic Indonesian national to fill the position of:
Program/Grants Communication Specialist ( Fix Term )
Jakarta Based
In collaboration with the program and grants departments, this position within the communications team will be responsible for leading the effective implementation of program-related communications strategies, developing program promotion materials, and working with the Communication Manager and other specialists to ensure ongoing knowledge management for Plan Indonesia.
Requirements:
- Degree in communications or social sciences
- At least 3 years experienced in international development
- Experienced in developing and implementing communications strategies for development programs
- Excellent written and spoken English skills
- Experienced in program documentation and capturing stories from the field
- Competency in editing, formatting, and layout
- Ability to manage external consultants and vendors
- Willingness to act as a team player
- Ability to multi-task and set priorities
- Ability to think critically and creatively
- Ability to work independently, develop work plans, and make sound decisions
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines; ability to manage stress
- Willing to travel extensively
