Vacancy at Plan Indonesia - Program/Grants Communication Specialist, Jakarta

Plan Indonesia is looking for a dynamic Indonesian national to fill the position of:
Program/Grants Communication Specialist ( Fix Term )
Jakarta Based

In collaboration with the program and grants departments, this position within the communications team will be responsible for leading the effective implementation of program-related communications strategies, developing program promotion materials, and working with the Communication Manager and other specialists to ensure ongoing knowledge management for Plan Indonesia.

Requirements:
  • Degree in communications or social sciences
  • At least 3 years experienced in international development
  • Experienced in developing and implementing communications strategies for development programs
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills
  • Experienced in program documentation and capturing stories from the field
  • Competency in editing, formatting, and layout
  • Ability to manage external consultants and vendors
  • Willingness to act as a team player
  • Ability to multi-task and set priorities
  • Ability to think critically and creatively
  • Ability to work independently, develop work plans, and make sound decisions
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines; ability to manage stress
  • Willing to travel extensively
